DO NOW
  • Daily Check in
  • Vocabulary Week 8
Learning intentions
  • Drafting
Agenda:
  • Final drafting day 4 of 4. (time spent writing 230 minutes)
  • CONCLUSIONS
    • Give a statement of the consequence/importance of this topic
    • Briefly summarize each main point found in the body of the paper (avoid going over 2)
    • End with a strong clincher statement: an appropriate, meaningful final sentence that ties the whole point of the paper together (may refer back to the attention grabber)
    • Example: There’s little purpose in fighting the rapid march of technology’s integration in most aspects of our lives, and why would we? Digital tools allow for a myriad of time saving measures (automation of redundant processes, instantaneous access to information and examples) but at a cost. There’s more power in a cell phone today than the computers that NASA first used to send a man to the moon. Yet, humans have, and always will be complicated beings, drawn to distraction and pleasure. As tech makes tasks faster and easier to perform, the question is how we will use the time gifted to us, especially in the classroom.
