Final discussion prompts/roles

• How did the story end? What was the resolution and why do you think the author decided to end it here?
• What was the point? What was the main theme or message YOU took away from this novel?
• What's the most important/impactful line in the last section of the book (w/ page number) and why?
• How or why was was the narrator/perspective important in this story?

Narrative Success Criteria

• I can use sensory details and description to show emotion rather than tell it
• I can focus narrative length to maximize meaningful impact/significance of story
• I can proofread for conventions (grammar, spelling, punctuation)
