Reflection on forced Native American removal policies and open discussion on the following statements:
  • People should be forgiven for breaking the laws or acting badly if they were acting out of self-preservation.
  • Should a person atone for mistakes made by previous generations.
  • Is it acceptable to sacrifice one person for the benefit of the majority.
  • The biggest thing that separates humans from the rest of the animal world is empathy.
