Short Form Video Series

PROJECT: Short form videos

Requirements
For this project you will be planning, recording, and editing 3 short 30-60 second videos. Each needs to be able to stand alone, but feel like part of a series. Below are the requirements:
  • These shoul be recorded and editing in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio
  • Use of a tripod (I just don't want handheld selfies)
  • At least 5 “cuts” per video to keep the video moving quickly
  • Must use a “hook” within the first 5 seconds of the video
  • Cut out all breaths, "umms," and pauses. The video should feel fast-paced and energetic.
  • Every video must have on-screen captions for the Hook and any key facts.
  • Use the same format, font style, and color palette across all 3 videos so they look like a set.
Examples
Check out the vidoes below for inspiration and a guide to give you some ideas if you want to film yourself. (Skip the gimbal sections, as we don't have one... yet!)

  • Fitness Tutorial
