Talking to and writing about strangers is hard. To practice your interviewing, writing, and editing skills, complete the two assignments below. Your test over this module will be the quality of your article and the proper editing of an article.
Think of a person from this school who you think is worthy of having a feature story written about them. This could be a teacher, a student, an administrator, or even a support staff, and the subject could be about anything: a passion, a sport, a position or job, or anything that makes that person unique. Interview that person.
OPTION 2: Trend Profile
Examine a thing or an organization that is having an impact on school society. Interview at least one person to give insight on this trend. Examples: Popular music trends, fashion trends, internet trends, tech, teaching trends.
Write interview questions pertaining to this person (get approval from Mr. Restad before moving on to the next step).
