Discussed social contracts, civil order, and the state of nature and how these concepts apply to Lord of the Flies. 

State of Nature - A state of perfect freedom, a state of equality without personal property, justice, or injustice. 

Social Contract - A contract surrenders some of freedoms to a group or an authority in exchange for protection of remaining rights.
