Reading Question Assessment 1 of 2:
  1. Analyze what Arnold's drawings tell us that his writing does not? Evaluate is the relationship between pictures and words?

  2. Describe the conversation Mr. P has with Junior? Why is this conversation significant to Junior?

  3. Compare and contrast the reasons why Arnold wants to go to Reardon and are the impediments to his going to a different school? (examine at least three)

Assignment
List 3-5 groups or roles that apply to you (for example, teacher, fisherman, poet, mentor).

Turn and share your list with a friend.
Choose two that have the most energy.
Read Page 54-61 about the differences Junior notices between himself and the students at Reardon and the accompanying illustration.
Create your own annotated cartoon illustration of two of your tribes. (As illustrated on page 57)
