Assignment:
Started reading Act 1 of The Crucible: Rewrote our "Forming Opinions - The Crucible" assignment in a private comment on Google Classroom practicing the following structure:
Also, edited our paragraphs for clarity and things like spelling and grammar. Example of A quality work: Humans have been creating societal rules for centuries in order to keep the world a balanced place, and although they help us maintain our place inside the lines, they can also limit and challenge our humane tendencies. I truly believe that we are controlled by our own rules, and for good reason. Boundaries were implemented because of the overwhelming chaos that ensued a society with no limits. Humans made up their own cage to put themselves in order to keep others safe. No person on Earth is perfect, and with unlimited capabilities one could do monstrous things, thus the need for a justice system. Today especially, citizens feel the weight of the law on their shoulders, even ordinary people are limited to the tightest extent on what they can and can't do. The line for what is right and wrong is impossible to draw 100%, and us humans are left up to the decision on where to place certain things. In no way is our system perfect, there are flaws everyday, but our society is molded into a tamer form thanks to it. Some may argue that in an ideal world with no rules society would go on as normal with no repercussions, but then again I ask them why our perfect world failed so long ago to do just that? We had the opportunity to have a FREE world, but clearly we were not mature enough to handle the responsibility. Then finished the "Half-Hanged Mary" assignment in Google Classroom.
