Annotated Bibliographies due tomorrow.
Last day for note taking and working on Annotated Bibliographies. Have at least 4 sources read and taken notes on by Friday. Did Grammar #8: Semicolons Remainder of class spent on annotated bibliographies and/or research and note taking. Upcoming deadlines (Adjusted)
 Complete this short assignment. Then begin creating your annotated bibliography. Check out the video below for instruction and my sample paper for an example. Last full in class day to find and take notes on articles for our research topic.
We'll start organizing our sources tomorrow and outlining our paper on Thursday. Continued research.
Be sure to have 4 sources found, cited, notated, and all around prepared for Tuesday.. Worked more on finding sources and began reading/taking notes on those sources. The purpose of taking notes:

Deadlines be like...  Begin finding sources for our research papers. Use either the notes sheets provided or the "Research Note Chart" provided by Mr. Restad on Google Classroom.

ASSIGNMENT Evaluating Sources NOTES Source Notes Finished our research project proposal. Started doing some preliminary research on our topics and collecting usable sources.
Explored the Google Classroom assignment for the Research Project: specifically the digital notes template and the EBSCOhost Explora. Did Grammar #6: Commas and Coordinate Adjectives
Then began looking in depth at our Position Paper Research Project. ASSIGNMENT: complete the Reserach Project Proposal Worked on ACT Practice. You can access and work on this site at any time! Cool!
Retook our Grammar Exam. See Mr. Restad if you need to retake and missed today.
Read started an introduction to our research projects. Have a project idea in mind by Thursday. Filled out this self-eval for the participating witnesses and attorneys of the trial.
Reviewed for grammar test on Monday. |
