  • Surprise! Aside from the Salem Witch Trials, there is another CRITICAL historical context you need to learn about to understand the meaning behind this play: COMMUNISM! Just kidding, it's not communism, but it is the fear of communism that was rampant in the 1920s-1950's called the Red Scare, ending with the coining of a term: McCarthyism.
  • Watch this video explaining the McCarthyism Jigsaw (also linked below) that you will complete over today and tomorrow.
