Hey kids,
I'm out today. My wife and kids are sick, so I get to play dad from home today. Be good for the sub. We're just watching the movie today so you can.
  1. WATCH THE MOVIE. Seriously, if we're going to take time in class to assist our understanding with a film adaptation, do it. Watch. Take notes. Look for those beginning elements of theme (e.g What it takes to live a good life? How do wealth, love, and dreams affect our pursuit of happiness?)
  2. THAT'S IT! That's all you have to do today. Notice how texting, sleeping, headphones, tiktok are all strangely absent from this list? Don't do them please.

Daily Learning Objectives
  • I can take notes on a novel to help improve comprehension and insight and to track thematic elements and details.

Agenda
  • Watch through chapter 4 of the film.
