If you are ready to start actually writing your parts 2 and 3 of your paper (the sections outlining either side of your issue/topic) take a quick look below:

Remember when writing paragraphs to consider
  • Function - what is the purpose of this paragraph
  • Focus - specific argument/idea
  • Flow – how each sentence links together
  • Form – how it is organized

Section Introduction paragraphs should...
  • State what the argument is for that side?
  • Break down the argument into it’s different parts (the bullets of your outline)

Body Paragraphs should support those sub-topics by
  • Topic Sentences
  • Provide context from where your quote/evidence is going to come from.
  • Quotes or evidence/support from your research
  • Analysis of that evidence to link back to your topic sentence
