Reasons for Research

1. Because Mr. Restad is an unhappy man and wants his students to suffer. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
2. To practice diligence, patience, organization, and a willingness to work hard.
3. Read texts thoughtfully, analytically, and critically.
4. Gather relevant evidence to broaden personal understanding and synthesis
5. Develop strategies for writing: particularly organizing, drafting, revising, and editing.
6. Use writing to engage in critical inquiry by exploring ideas, challenging assumptions, and reflect on perspectives other than our own.
