We'll be in the library Thursday and Friday learning about research tools and sources. Be sure to have an idea of what you want to do: CHOOSING A TOPIC

ACT write editing - You will be typing your ACT essay, letter for letter, then making the following edits.

• If needed, re-write your thesis to be a complex or compound sentence that addresses the prompt and connects/compares two ideas using a conjunctive adverb.
  
  
• Make sure your essay has a minimum of 4 paragraphs (intro, body paragraphs, and conclusion)
  
  
• Add 2 details/development to existing examples, OR if you don’t have enough examples to support your thesis, add them. Underline this information.
  
• Review your paper and identify 5 words or phrases you could rewrite with strong phrasing or vocabulary. Make these changes in bold.
  
  
• Change at least two sentences to make them compound or complex. Italicize these
  
  
• Finally, Proofread for spelling, punctuation, and other grammatical errors and Make sure your paper is in MLA format, complete with header, heading, and title.
